What is VG Media Network?

Video Game Media Network is a group of video game bloggers and webmasters, who are dedicated to improving their site and content, and increasing traffic to all members of the network.

How do you work to improve the member sites?

Every week we focus on two blogs. During each blog’s week, the members of the network critique the blog, the site and the content, focusing on providing helpful suggestions and constructive criticism to help the blog owner improve his/her site. Having several other bloggers give their opinions on your blog is an invaluable tool for improvement.

How do you increase traffic for the member blogs?

We do this primarily in two ways: links and social media. Every member of the network has a permanent link on their site to every other member in the network. As your blog gains popularity and readers, this increases the exposure of the network and other member blogs (and vice versa). Additionally, network members are encouraged to read and discuss the articles posted by the other bloggers, and foster discussion of that content on their own site.

We also work to increase traffic through the use of social media, such as Digg, Stumbleupon and other services. Network members are encouraged, but not required, to submit the high quality content they find on other member sites to those services.

Does that violate the TOS of those social media sites?

No. Again, network members are not ever required to submit material to social media. They are simply encouraged to do so when they find high quality content that they want to submit.

Are you looking to add new members to the network?

We are always looking for more high quality blogs and sites to add to the network.

What type of sites are you looking for?

Currently, we are looking for any type of video game related sites. However, this may change in the future.

Do you have to be a full time blogger to join?

No, we accept any kind of blogger - full time, part time, amateur, pro, newbie or veteran. Our only requirement is that you are serious about wanting to improve as a blogger and have a strong desire increase traffic, both to your site and to others’.
