LagORama joins VG Media

January 31st, 2008 . by John

Dave “Inhibitor” Hughes from LagORama has joined the VG Media Network! From his nickname we can deduce that he is at least one of the following:

1) Professional wrestler with the WWE. And in this corner…. the man, the myth, the legend…. The INHIBITOR!

2) Vigilante crime fighter. The Joker is going to release the nerve gas at the zoo this afternoon?!?! Light up the Hib signal! We need him right away!!

3) Video game blogger.

Well, I don’t actually know how Hib spends his nights and weekends, but he is at least a video game blogger. He says,

LagORama is a blog devoted to the MMORPG genre, and the gamers that play them while griping about gold sellers, unbalanced warlocks and…well, lag, obviously. It’s updated at least once per day Monday through Friday each week, by Inhibitor, and occasionally on the weekends when something really stupid happens.

Welcome, Hib!

VG Media Welcomes Droniac

January 22nd, 2008 . by John

I’m pleased to announce that Droniac, from The Game Drone, has joined the ranks of the VG Media Network.

Droniac focuses his blog on Strategy, FPS, RPG and MMO games available on the PC. His aim is to highlight the lesser known, quieter games in those genres that perhaps you haven’t heard of yet.

Welcome, Droniac!

VG Media Launches

January 19th, 2008 . by John

I’m proud to announce the launch of the VG Media Network, a new community for video game bloggers and fans, dedicated to providing the highest level of quality content available. We’ve got a great group of bloggers from around the globe, covering many different aspects of the video game industry.

In no particular order, the founding members are:

Write The Game - A blog that’s designed to help you understand games; the process of development, the sweat, toil and tears that get sunk into thirty seconds of action, and the tightrope line of success across the sea of failure.

The Hunter’s Mark - A blog that discusses hunter theorycraft from the perspective of a Survival hunter, as well as guides, gear and raiding, with the occasional video and comic, in addition to anecdotes of adventures around Azeroth and the Outlands with alts.

Daniel Primed - Through his blog, Daniel provides interesting editorial based articles on both modern and retro gaming. Among the regular articles, he also has a series of featured segments which regularly appear on the blog.

Girls Don’t Game - A group of five girl gamers talk games. Plenty of different opinions, and a wide range of subjects, from reviews to interviews to editorials.

Tank Hard! - A couple of tanks from the World of Warcraft talk shop, discussing strategies and gear, dispensing advice as needed and sharing their stories of being the first to die in battle.

Press The Buttons - News, opinion and commentary on the video game industry, from MattG, a self proclaimed “Mario fanatic”.

Consolation Prize - A blog dedicated to the current generation of video game consoles, with impressions and reviews of games that have been played by “QuizzicalDemon”, an avid gamer since the early eighties.

DrainingSouls.net - Adrenis is a warm-hearted and friendly warlock (who just wants to borrow your soul) in the World of Warcraft. He plays casually, raids on occasion, PvPs on the side, and writes about it all on his blog.

The Server Is Down - Kevin provides insightful commentary and analysis on many of the various MMOs available now. An ex-WoW raider, he’s currently playing EQ II and waiting for WAR to be released.
